Training and Development Officer Belfast

Training and Development Officer – Belfast

Do you have experience of the training and development of a group of professionals?

Do you have experience working within an accountancy/financial Services setting?

If so you may be suitable to the role explained below.

This is a temporary role which may lead on to another permanent position.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Design of specialist training as outlined by the operational requirements of the business.
  • Working in a team to prepare training materials that are of a satisfactory standard to all relevant parties including line manager, accountants and senior managers at board level.
  • Responsible for delivering quality training to the business as required.
  • Update and maintain training programs in order to incorporate changes occurring in the work environment.
  • Provide quality evaluations of the contribution training has made to the business.
  • Assist the Training and Development Associate support projects and programmes within the department as required.
  • Maintain attendance records.

Essential Criteria

  • Strong communication skills including ability to prepare training material (design) and delivery (verbal).
  • Experience in preparation of training materials and delivery of same would be advantageous.
  • Excellent organisational, prioritisation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable communicating with senior management.
  • Travel will be required to deliver training programmes to global locations.
  • Financial Services Experience
  • Accountancy Background.
