Temporary Administrator

Abacus have an urgent requirement for a full-time temporary Administrator for one of our key clients in Belfast. This is a temporary requirement (expected to last 3 months).

Role Responsibilities:

  • Preparing Agendas and taking minutes at meetings.
  • Coordination of dates and panel membership for shortlisting and interviews.
  • Coordinate interview schedules.
  • Prepare documentation for interviews.
  • Administer the interview process to include maintenance of the online application and offers system.
  • Assist with obtaining references for those appointed.
  • To ensure trainee courses and regional teaching sessions are organised on a regular basis.

Requirements:

  • 4 GCSEs at Grades A-C including English Language and Maths or equivalent / higher qualification and 2 years’ relevant experience in a clerical / administrative role.
  • Experience in the use of Microsoft office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to use own initiative.
  • Ability to recognise problems and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Effective planning and organisational skills with an ability to prioritise own workload.
  • Effective communication skills to meet the needs of the post in full.
  • Hold a full current driving licence valid for use in the UK and have access to a car or a form of transport on appointment.
