Systems Analyst

Systems Analyst (Belfast & Derry)

The Role:

 

Allstate Northern Ireland is pleased to announce opportunities for experienced Systems Analysts.

 

We are seeking candidates from a strong SA background with a focus on newer technologies such as C# .Net/Java/Mobile.

 

In these roles you will be responsible for a range of activities including (but not limited to):

  • Engage with business & technology stakeholders in ideation & solution creation

  • Provide technical documentation (Requirements, Design documents)

  • Provide project estimates

  • Provide Technical leadership and best practice guidance

  • Create/Write processes for adoption across the team

  • Application development (if required) – Proof of Concepts; Development Projects

  • Create and provide leadership in automated unit testing and drive code quality

     

    Essential Criteria:

     

  • Degree (preferably I.T. related);

  • Minimum 5 years of full SDLC experience (analysis, design, build, stabilization, deployment); and

  • Minimum 2 years developing and supporting applications in a newer technology (C#.Net/Java/Mobile)

  • Proven ability at writing concise, high quality requirements and design documents;

  • Ability to engage with business partners, technology stakeholders, technology vendors in ideation & solution creation;

  • Be able to communicate technical information clearly between diverse groups of technical and non-technical individuals;

  • Must be an EU citizen or possess a current UK Tier 1 or Tier 2 General Visa and eligible to take up full time, permanent employment.

  • Be available to travel overseas from time to time.
