Residential Support Worker – Belfast

Our client, based in the Belfast area, requires part time and full time Band 3 Support Workers. The post will involve working with adults within a residential setting and will be reviewed on a monthly basis. The rate of pay for this role will be £14,137 – £16,224 per annum.

Job Responsibilities and Preferred Skills

As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for:

  • Working as part of a dedicated team to provide high quality care
  • Providing care and support to service users
  • Promoting independence in the service user
  • Assisting with personal care
  • Engaging with the service user and supporting them in a variety of activities
  • Maintaining a safe, clean and enjoyable environment
  • Maintaining accurate notes and records as and when required

The successful candidate will also be required to have:

  • Minimum 6 months recent, paid experience working within the care sector
  • Previous paid experience working elderly or vulnerable service users
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Care
  • NISCC Registered (or willingness to apply)
