Salary Range:   L3 £38,841- £45,697 (Incentive programme in place)

Purpose of the Job:

 

The post’s responsibilities are to identify new sales targets and business opportunities in Europe, Africa, Middle East and Russia for Aerostructures Sales and Marketing and to follow through with sales strategy to ensure that revenue level is achieved. 

 

Principal accountabilities:

      Developing sales plans for new and existing customers in a specified region to achieve specified targets.

      Developing, leading and motivating the relevant team, in line with Bombardier core values and leadership behaviours. 

      Identifying key personnel in existing and new customer organisations responsible for supporting contract negotiations and awards.

      Constructing, developing and negotiating spares and component repair/lease/overhaul contracts with new and existing customers.

      Developing and agreeing governance procedures and metrics for sales internally with the Sales and Marketing Manager and other key stakeholders.

      Managing customer requirements in respect of sales and liaising with various departments, group-wide functional teams and other regional salesteams.

      Being a sales point of contact for the customer.

      Preparing and submitting customer reports and identifying potential business opportunities.

      Making alterations to repair agreements when required to ensure customer satisfaction.

      Leading and motivating a team of Sales professionals to achieve targets.

      Assisting in ensuring customer requirements are met while at the same time ensuring that departmental business goals are not compromised.

   

Candidate requirements for this role are:

      A minimum of an HNC or equivalent in marketing, business or engineering and a minimum of five years’ relevant experience in aerospace, sales or customer support.  However, candidates with lesser qualifications and a minimum of eight years’ relevant experience in aerospace, sales or customer support will also be considered.

      A thorough understanding of the aerospace market, including trends and airline operations. 

      In-depth knowledge and experience of commercial transactions, contracts, competitors and competitive environments.

 

DUE TO THE GLOBAL NATURE OF OUR BUSINESS, THE SUCCESFUL APPLICANT WILL BE REQUIRED TO OFTEN TRAVEL INTERNATIONALLY AND WORK OUTSIDE CORE HOURS AS BUSINESS NEEDS DICTATE.
