Regional Catering Manager

The Company

Care Circle are recruiting for a talented and experienced Regional Catering Manager who will be responsible for the catering provisions throughout our 12 Homes in Northern Ireland. Ambitious and commercially aware, the successful candidate will have the personality and presence to influence the day to day catering related element of our business and maximise performance of our teams.

The Regional Catering Manager will lead by example, setting exceptional standards and have the ability to ensure an excellent standard in the quality of the food offered to all our Residents.

Attention to detail, high level presentation standards and first class customer-client relationship management, combined with excellent knowledge of food standards and procedures are paramount within this role.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in managing a multi-site catering provision with the ability to successfully motivate staff
  • Demonstrate experience of managing change and achieving business objectives and KPI’s
  • Display a full understanding and experience of menu design that is reflective of special dietary requirements and in line with the RQIA
  • Effectively and efficiently manage the food and hospitality offering across all Homes in respect of presentation, taste, consistency and quality to ensure that company standards are being achieved
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Legislation to ensure a continuously high standard of food hygiene is
    maintained in all units
  • Ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities and are equipped and updated with the necessary skills
  • Manage order process, maintain correct stock levels, ensure proper stock rotation, carry out spot checks to ensure that kitchens across the group are audit ready at all times
  • Ensure any corrective action registers are being completed and followed up in a timely manner
  • Achieve and manage the relevant regional budget across the group
  • Lead, motivate and support the catering team and hospitality staff, identifying training and support needs in line with company HR policies and procedures
  • Have excellent IT skills to produce accurate and timely reports as required by the company
  • Have the ability to liaise with suppliers to ensure high standard of food and efficiency of ordering in a cost effective manner
  • Be in attendance at meetings with Residents/Relatives in relation to catering needs of Residents and the Home
