NPI Engineer – Co. Down/Greater Belfast

Excellent opportunity for an astute Mechanical or Electrical Engineer to gain broad technical and commercial experience within a globally respected engineering company.

Our client is well established in their field, providing electronic/electrical solutions and products across a variety of highly regulated industries.  Offering an excellent opportunity for career progression, key responsibilities will be wide ranging and will include:

Project Management – managing the introduction of new products from quote phase through to product realisation, managing a project team to ensure project deadlines and requirements, including regulatory standards are achieved;

Providing Technical Expertise – taking specific responsibility for the engineering, material or commercial aspects of a project – briefing and advising the project team, senior management and customers on your recommendations;

Providing hands on support in model and pre-production build;

Contract Review – with respect to all NPI engineering and commercial issues;

Documentation – in particular in relation to ISO9001 standards.

Ideal candidates will be:

Third level qualified (Degree/HND) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Experienced within a PCB Assembly manufacturing environment.

Hours of work are 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8am to 1pm on a Friday.
