Marketing Consultant

Diamond Recruitment Group is currently seeking a Marketing Consultant for our client to work in Belfast, Co.Antrim Northern Ireland.  This will be a fixed term contract for min 12 moths.

 

This is a fixed term contract and our client is a global leader in manufacturing, they produce award winning products and have a fantastic working environment.

The Role

A Marketing Consultant position based in Belfast is open within our clients Brand Management team of the Commercial Group.

This is an exciting role which has high visibility from their leadership team, from their dealer network globally and from their customers.

 

Key Responsibilities:

As the Marketing Consultant reporting to the Electric Power Division (EPD) Brand Manager, your key responsibilities will be;

Supporting or project-managing events / conferences for dealers and customers at our Northern Ireland facilities or occasionally overseas. 

Larger events can run to 50 – 100 people.  This involves close interaction with our Custom Products Group based in Northern Ireland and overseas and with our Geneva-based Europe/Africa/Middle East sales group.

Leading promotional marketing activity for our Custom Products Group;

This is a $300 million business supplying high added-value electric power products globally to well-known blue chip brands.  Activity includes:

Promotional material development

Copywriting for product literature

Product launch activity

Through the year, you will be offering support to their Cat and FG Wilson brand marketing teams which will open up opportunity to gain broader exposure within the organisation. 

 

Essential Criteria:

A degree in a relevant discipline e.g. marketing, plus 5 years job related experience. 

Candidates with a lesser qualification must show substantially more relevant

Our client is looking for people who are creative, well-organised, who thrive on meeting people, are passionate about marketing and who can pick up a project and mark it with their own stamp. 

Their work involves a global team and customers drawn from many different cultures, and customers who are buying premium capital equipment, therefore people-skills, and especially influencing skills are important.

Teamwork is what drives our business and this role will work as part of teams or lead teams, often drawn from across the world.  Being able to build good working relationships with remote team members is important. 

 

Desirable Criteria:

Experience of event management.

Project managing marketing activities for product launches.

Knowledge of Photoshop / Illustrator or equivalent.

 

Salary & Benefits

Around £16- £17per hour.
