Manufacturing Planner (Tyrone) 25K

Our Fabulous Client now requires an experienced Manufacturing Planner to work alongside the Master Planner. You must be proficient in Microsoft Office 

The Job

  • Working with Master Planner to streamline process such that all firm orders are scheduled in line with customer requirements and the clean to build process. 
  • Provide an effective interface via the Master Planner that ensures customers and dealers are informed of their goods delivery status
  • Ensure that the master schedule is accurate and reflective of planned production at all times 
  • MRP runs nightly within the agreed timeline boundaries to generate planned purchase orders for operative purchasing team.
  • Further develop ERP system to ensure that all work in progress can be tracked and  managed through the process.
  • Working with Purchasing, Engineering and Manufacturing to implement a “clean to build”  production schedule that ensures all buy & made parts are available from a purchasing and  engineering perspective and that we have capacity to build high quality units.
  • Liaise with all relevant departments regarding planning schedule if necessary
  • Working with the Operations Manager and Manufacturing Manager, schedule order into  production.
  • Co-ordinate with the dispatch/shipping function to ensure that the production schedule and  dispatch schedule are integrated and synchronized.
  • Instill a culture of continuous process improvement in the materials replenishment  process. 

The Person

  • Previous experience of manufacturing processes within an engineering environment.
  • Good understanding of end to end Order Fulfilment process and key interdependencies.
  • Practical experience of ERP systems.
  • Demonstrable experience in process development and implementation.    
  • Strong organisational skills in terms of work planning and time management.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent leadership skills to aid team building.
  • Fully proficient in Microsoft applications or equivalent.
