Manufacturing Engineer (Electro-Mechanical) – Greater Belfast

Interesting, new role within an innovative, global manufacturing company, successfully delivering complex technical and scientific solutions for a diverse customer base.

This is a key post within the organisation.  You will take responsibility for driving best in class manufacturing practices and leading lean manufacturing initiatives.  Key to your success will be a keen hunger for technology – the role would suit a natural engineer, someone with an appetite for learning new skills and the creativity to come up with new ways of doing things.

Excellent interpersonal skills are also required;   the ability to develop credible, influential relationships with colleagues will be essential when leading and implementing change.

The role will be based within the Production department.  This will offer you the opportunity for some hands-on engineering – e.g. designing and maintaining jigs and fixtures and leading new process layouts as well as the responsibility for owning all aspects of process documentation and equipment servicing and calibration.

A full job description is available.

Candidates should have a degree in Engineering, preferably with an electro-mechanical bias, and have some experience in an assembly environment and proficient AutoCAD skills.
