Logistics Administrator

Our client is an FMCG organisation with a fantastic reputation and an annual turnover in the hundreds of millions. They are recruiting for a Logistics Administrator to join their close-knit team based in Belfast, on a permanent basis. Working as a member of the stock control and logistics departments, this individual will be responsible for managing logistics activities in addition to administration duties.

This inventory coordination will take place in an office environment. The main aim of this role is to assist the logistics team in the management of key accounts. the logistics administrator will collate, analyse and reconcile data, in relation to these accounts. Duties will include the reconciliation of invoices, and the successful applicant should be comfortable with figures and ideally have experience in a similar role. This individual will produce a weekly storage report, and collate data in relation to extra space and special deliveries. This individual will be asked to complete the data required for relevant deliveries and create credit purchase orders due. Occasional trips to England in order to do stock reconciliations is required.

This would be a fantastic opportunity for a driven, computer literate graduate, who has an interest in getting involved with a forward thinking and progressive company who encourages professional development. Alternatively an individual with experience within Logistics, a financial setting or an office environment which requires proficient excel skills would be a good fit for this role.

The successful Logistics Administrator will be computer literate and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. SAP experience is desirable but not essential. The successful individual must be able to hit the ground running and take on the challenges of the role, whilst possessing an ability to think outside the box and contribute to the team. A positive attitude is essential, and the successful individual will be willing to take on new challenges and to contribute fully to the team
