Inbound Customer Service Advisors

Grafton Recruitment are working on behalf of our client who are seeking a number of Inbound Customer Service Advisors to join their team based in Belfast City Centre. These are temporary full time roles for initially 6 months with the possibility to of going permanent.

There are 2 start dates for this role – Thursday 12th August and Monday 24th August.

The rate of pay for this position is £7.21/hour. Hours of work will be 40 hours per week on a rotational shift basis falling between the following hours:

  • Monday to Sunday – 8am – 9pm

Job Duties:

  • Handle queries via telephone, email, internet and by post
  • Access information required to help the customer in a quick and accurate manner
  • Use your diagnostic skills in order to identify requirements for each enquiry as well as provide an accurate and appropriate response
  • Use call handling skills to deal with sensitive or difficult calls
  • To appropriately escalate any issues as required
  • To accurately capture and record customer details for all enquiries
  • To carry out administrative duties as required for the role
  • Make outbound calls if required to complete tasks
  • Must be flexible and able to adapt to the needs of the business
  • Work as an effective team member
  • Be aware of own training needs and bring these to the attention of your line manager, whilst ensuring that any training is undertaken to the best of your ability
  • Ensure you maintain good practices at all times
  • To undertake other tasks as required

To be considered for this role, please ensure you fully meet the below criteria:

  • At least 5 GCSE’s (with Maths and English at grade C or above)
  • A minimum of 6-12 months call centre/customer service experience
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), as well as high standard of literacy
  • Strong Diagnostic skills
  • Able to multi task and prioritise workloads which can range from straightforward enquiry to one of a more complex nature
  • Competent in the use of IT packages
  • Able to work to KPI’s and Quality standards
  • Must be flexible to meet the business needs
  • Take proactive ownership of own learning and development
  • Able to work on own initiative as well as participate as an effective team player
