Graduate Project Consultant

Our Client based in Bangor wishes to recruit a Graduate Project Consultant to join their company via the Parity Professionals Intro Programme.

Job Purpose

The role will vary considerably depending on the current projects being delivered by the company during the placement, however the role will include:

  • Project co-ordination of existing business development and tendering programmes being delivered by the firm;
  • Co-ordination of promotional and recruitment activities for upcoming programmes;
  • Co-ordination and write-up of programme evaluation reports;
  • Conduct of market research and development of market research reports to support the delivery of client specific projects;
  • Work and support the implementation of a marketing and promotional plan for the business;
  • Support clients with the write-up and submission of bids;
  • Assist with the development and management of a contact management database within the business;
  • Assist with the administration and management of the day-to-day activities within the firm;
  • Support the directors of the company in activities required to ensure the effective and timely delivery of a professional consultancy service.

Key Duties

  • Support and Project Co-ordination of current projects and programmes being delivered by the company.
  • Conduct market research on behalf of clients looking at new market opportunities including export markets.
  • Assist in the development and submission or proposals and bids in pitching for new business.
  • Assist in the marketing and promotion of the firm and development of a contact management/CRM system within the business.

Essential Criteria

  • 3rd level qualification in Business, Marketing or English.
  • Previous business experience would be beneficial and experience in the production and presentation of professional business reports including use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint in the production of business reports.
  • Previous experience of market research would be beneficial especially in identifying sources of market research and compiling a market research report including a summary of findings and conclusions.
  • The candidate will be required to write and edit sales proposals and bid documents and hence a high level of written English skills will be required both for writing and editing purposes and this will be tested at interview stage.
  • The candidate will need to be able to work independently and deliver projects to challenging deadlines and so will need to be highly organised and efficient in the management of their time and in prioritising their work activities .

Salary

£7.00 P/H + Funded Management Qualification
