Facilities Documentation Technician

40 hours per week

Salary: TBC

The Role

The post holder will primarily assist with the daily management of facilities and other business unit service providers.

The post holder will:

  1. Help manage the Almac Card Access Security System, issuing new cards and assigning building access privileges to Almac staff and service providers daily.
  2. Assist with the management of Facilities PEMAC schedules.
  3. Help to supervise and coordinate outside contractors as required, issuing sign in and sign out Permits to Work accordingly.
  4. Assist with the management of the Facilities maintenance documentation system.
  5. Assist with general departmental administration tasks as and when required.
  6. Some weekend supervisory work will be needed to coordinate Facilities maintenance works.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) Grades A-C to include Mathematics and English Language and experience in using AutoCAD LT. He/She will have 2 years plus experience of working in Facilities/Engineering documentation role, be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages (to include Word, Excel and Outlook) and possess effective communication skills. Successful applicants will have the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy in all work carried out.
