Executive Assistant

Our client is a leading online back-office price comparison service provider. They have over 400 financial partners and numerous affinity partners and are a trusted, successful and profitable company.

Executive Assistant (excellent career opportunity and prospects)

Reporting to the CEO you will have a high degree of responsibility as well as a diverse and interesting range of work and challenges. As this is a new position, the role will evolve, however key areas of responsibly will include the following:

General Administration:

  • HR and Finance Administration
  • Support marketing and related functional areas
  • Produce purchase orders and payment requests as and when required
  • Be the first point of contact for visitors and telephone enquiries for the CEO
  • Implement and maintain an efficient filing system where appropriate
  • Purchase and manage office supplies Process / System improvement
  • Mail / email management
  • Senior Management Team support and liaison

The candidate:

  • 3rd Level Degree to 2:1 level or above in one of the following disciplines:- Business Administration, IT, Finance, Accounting or similar
  • Excellent academic track record (‘O’ and ‘A’ Level grades) and command of the English language
  • 2 years business administration experience (ideally within a technical environment)
  • Excellent computer skills with high level of competency in all Microsoft Office packages, especially Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ideally experience in Sage Line 50 / 200 or other Accounting Software
  • Strong character with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work within a team and on own initiative
  • Confident and able to remain calm under pressure
  • Flexible approach to work
  • Maintain strictest confidentiality at all times
  • Ability to clearly communicate at all levels
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Ability to travel with appropriate notice given e.g. to attend external meetings
  • Ideally fluency in a second European language
  • Full driving licence
