Data Architect

Data Architect/SAS – Contract – Dublin
Key Responsibilities:
Liaise with the business stakeholders to understand their needs and lead the Business Analytics, Data Analytics and Data Mining Practice. Participate in the interrelated data initiatives, own the subsequent design and development solutions and ensure a successful release of the appropriate artefacts within the agreed timescales; new artefacts can include new classes of applications for the enterprise, fit for purpose data visualisations, enriching existing operational data stores, data warehouse and master data/reference data implementations. Define and agree an efficient and sustainable governance model and include the enhancement of existing Data Management and TQ! Standards.
Formalise the engagement model between TTS Technology, the Data Innovation office (DIO) and other partner organisations.
Essential Experience:
Experience of delivering complex projects involving multiple stakeholders across different geographical locations with a significant amount of uncertainty. Experience of applied research, experimental development and early design activities to validate/invalidate ideas. Experience in managing a portfolio of early stage initiatives.
Desired Experience:
Banking or financial services experience or other large corporate environment. Previous knowledge of the Securities & Funds Services Business and Application Portfolio.
Skill Requirements:
Broad knowledge of analytics platforms and technologies, such as SAS, SPSS, R, Tresata. Advanced analytical, problem solving, negotiation and organizational skills.
Prior experience with Business Intelligence is desirable. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are an absolute requirement. Candidate should be comfortable interacting with Sr. IT and Business Leadership levels (CXO Levels) within the Customer space. Highly developed customer interaction and presentation skills are mandatory.
Advanced organizing and planning skills to manage large project teams and complex customer deliverables.
