Customer Accounts Administrator, South Belfast

Customer Accounts Administrator required for our client based on Newforge Lane in South Belfast in Co Antrim, Northern Ireland. Temporary contract to cover maternity leave. Due to location, own transport would be an advantage.

Client interviews will take place on Monday 12th January 2015.

The Role:

As a Customer Accounts Administrator, you will be given the opportunity to join a dynamic innovative team, learn new skills and develop your current skills in relation to system knowledge and problem solving. Key duties will include:

  • Registering customers onto the billing system
  • Resolving in a timely manner billing process requirements and errors, including:
  • Problem solving issues relating to billing accounts
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders

Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00-17:00

The Person:


To apply for the position of Customer Account Administrator, you should be able to demonstrate the following skills/attributes:

  • At least 6 months’ recent experience within an office environment
  • 5 GCSEs (C or above) including Maths and English
  • Working knowledge/experience of databases and data entry
  • Able to demonstrate good working knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised in order to bring about continuous improvement
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to organise and prioritise workloads with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Problem solving skills
  • Adaptable approach for changing business needs
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Ability to build effective relationships and liaise successfully with internal and external stakeholders

Desirable

  • Experience of working in an administrative capacity within a Customer Service environment
  • Experience of CC&B billing system
  • Understanding of electricity and gas market structures
  • Experience of Salesforce customer management system
  • Knowledge of Excel V Look Up/Pivot Tables
  • Due to location, own transport is an advantage
