Business Development Manager – UK

Salary: Highly Attractive

Our client, 4Beauty Group, is a leading manufacturer and exporter of beauty products to international markets. Due to added exposure and planned growth, they are now looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to build upon their recent success and introduce clients and contracts to the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding the client base across Great Britain.

The Role:

  • Manage the company’s business growth efforts through the development and implementation of a robust business development strategy designed to promote and sell the company’s products with high volume accounts in UK markets.
  • As a key member of the senior management team, contribute to the formulation of the short, medium and long term business strategies for the company and the transition of these strategies into challenging KPIs that facilitate measurement of business success.
  • Secure the short and medium term growth of a number of important national accounts and identify and plan an approach to bring new significant revenue accounts on board.
  • Build and manage positive business relationships with customer buying offices in order to proactively manage the buying relationship with large national accounts in order to achieve on/above target sales.
  • Attend relevant trade shows throughout the UK and Europe, building brand awareness for the purpose of generating new business.

The Person:

  • Experience of opening and developing high value national accounts with an FMCG company.
  • Experience of working in conjunction with internal Marketing partners to develop accounts.
  • Business acumen/commercial awareness with a focus on targets.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including strong negotiation, presentation and influencing skills.
  • Proven ability to own and apply a thorough sales methodology to both new and existing business.
  • Able to work flexibly as required to ensure business needs are met.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Able to travel extensively throughout the UK.
