Business Development Manager (Software)

MCS Group is working with an award winning technology firm on the recruitment of a Business Development Manager who will play a key role in driving new business in one of the most lucrative UK territories where there is already a proven track record of success.

Our client is a leading technology business providing a range of innovative web based solutions that have been designed to improve website accessibility to a wide variety of users.  The technology is seen as leading-edge and the company is continually investing in R&D to ensure the continual development of new and improved solutions.

Due to continued growth and ongoing demand we are now seeking to recruit an experienced BDM with a proven track record in new business.

You will be focused on a lucrative market and be supported internally by a world-class marketing and sales support structure.  You will be developing new business relationships within the public and private sector and should have experience in dealing with senior level decision makers. 

This role is suited to a self-starter with drive and ambition. Some of the core responsibilities will include: 

- Identifying opportunities and closing sales in identified markets to meet and exceed personal targets in specified UK/ROI territory.

- Personal Prospecting and Lead Creation.

- Pipeline Creation, Pipeline Management and Accurate Forecasting.

- Preparing proposals, follow-up and closing sales.

- Developing & managing third party channel network.

- Participating in promotional activities as required.

- Providing timely reports.

You will be joining a business that has a culture of rewarding sales performance.  The remuneration will include a generous base salary (negotiable based on experience) and a lucrative uncapped commission structure including accelerators for over performance.
