Business Development Executive – Healthcare

Our client is a highly prestigious and rapidly expanding private healthcare provider. They currently have excellent opportunities for experienced sales professional to join their business in London. Working closely with the senior management team you will play a key role in developing their business across the group in a highly professional and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive new revenues and business opportunities from new clients, via direct and channel engagement strategies
  • Achieve pre-agreed sales targets (both activity and revenues) for the period, including monthly, quarterly and annually
  • Manage a pre-agreed portfolio of existing clients
  • Maintain exceptional working relationships with them and updating the information on our computer system
  • Achieve pre-agreed incremental sales targets for the allocated existing clients and channels
  • To work with key channel partners to deliver agreed sales targets in a coordinated and structured manner
  • Produce annual sales plans and gain support and sign-off for such plans from senior management
  • Provide monthly management reports to a pre-agreed format, monitoring performance against targets
  • Work closely with the Sales Manager to achieve maximum efficiency of time management
  • Work closely with the Sales Manager in all sales activities involved in, to ensure that every opportunity is taken to achieve successful outcomes
  • Contribute significantly to the development of new product ideas, identifying changing client needs and discussing these with the Sales Manager

Essential Criteria:

  • A minimum of 3 years relevant sales experience
  • Experience of delivering projects to deadlines/ targets
  • Experience of working with Senior Management in a commercial environment, including developing sales and business opportunities in the healthcare sector
  • Experience of managing a sales pipeline and computer systems
  • Experience of making a succinct impact on sales performance
  • Knowledge of managing client pitches
  • Excellent communication skills via well written documents, presentations and personal interactions (at all levels)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage the full sales cycle and coordinate resources to respond to client requirements
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Packages including Powerpoint, Excel , Outlook
  • Ability to influence others at all levels in an organisation
