Bus Driver, Crumlin. £9.06

Bus Driver.

Working on behalf of our client a parking company based at Belfast international airport I am seeking to recruit a number of Bus Drivers.

You will act as the first point of contact for members of the public using the car park bus service, transporting them from the car park to the terminal in a safe and timely manner.

Areas of Accountability

  • To actively engage with the customers in the car park and to ensure customer satisfaction through polite, hospitable and cooperative interaction.
  • To provide safe transportation for customers between the car park and the airport assisting customers where required to transport baggage to and from the bus.
  • To ensure all customer transactions are completed in timely manner and adhere to Company policies and procedures.
  • To follow the full cleaning procedures ensuring general housekeeping is carried out; whilst operating the bus, housekeeping must be completed during and at the end of each shift.
  • To use, where required, Company cleaning equipment to ensure high standards are maintained within the parking facility.
  • To maintain and clean all parking equipment (including buses) on a regular basis
  • To be proactive in attempting to correct problems before escalation to Supervisor
  • To complete all vehicle checks and documentation whether mandatory or local requirements e.g. daily vehicle check, accurately and as frequently as prescribed, reporting any exceptions in a timely manner.
  • To report any quality management or health and safety issues.
  • Ensure that all Statutory and Company regulations regarding health and safety, fire and security are followed to protect airport users, staff members and the business interests of the Company.
  • Undertake any other tasks as appropriate to meet operational contingencies.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required

  • A full UK driving license (Category D) is essential.
  • Current driver CPC
  • Microsoft office skills including word and excel.
  • Previous experience of working in a customer service role.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Have a flexible attitude to work.

Hours: Working a 12 hour shift giving an average of 42.11 hours per week.

Rate Per Hr: £9.06
