Audit (Newly qualified)

MCS Group is currently seeking a newly qualified accountant with significant audit experience to join a top Belfast firm.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a chartered accountant looking to progress their career in audit and offers excellent career development opportunities.

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

  • Fully Chartered Accountant / Qualified Accountant / Certified Accountant
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive and outgoing personality
  • Membership of the Chartered Accountants Ireland, or equivalent
  • Degree Qualified with a minimum 2:2 degree classification 

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a Portfolio of Clients
  • Planning and managing assignments for compliance with technical requirements
  • Assisting the partners in the running of the Practice
  • Training and developing junior accountants
  • Ensure that the Firms risk management and quality control procedures were maintained at all times
  • Assisting with consulting work
  • Working knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, International Auditing Standards and Financial Reporting Standards
