Administrator / Receptionist

Role objective

Managing reception and administration for various departments within the organisation.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create invoice and billing documentation
  • Forward electronic paperwork to customers.
  • Liaison with other functional areas eg Human Resources, Quality.
  • Handle Reception duties and answering of phones.
  • Handle customs and duty filing as required.
  • Order office supplies when necessary.
  • Manage office petty cash.
  • Manage and process incoming and outgoing mail items.
  • Type and word-process various documents and electronic information.
  • Handle a range of other relevant duties as assigned from time to time

Essential Criteria:

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in this or a similar position
  • GSCE Mathematics and English Grade C or above
  • Experience of dealing with accounts receivable and payable
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office, in particular Word and Excel.
  • Experience of working with minimum supervision in an office environment, working on own initiative
  • Organized and efficient
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work to deadlines

Hours of work: 8am to 4.30pm or 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday

Salary: £16k when permanent

Holidays: 28 days per annum pro rata including stats

Parking: Free Parking
