Accounts Payable Administrator

Client:

A market leading, manufacturing organisation has a rare and exciting opening within their Finance Department for an experienced Accounts Payable Administrator. Commencing initially on a temporary contract, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy and dynamic team within a preferred employer.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, the post holder will be required to work within a high volume accounts payable department.

- Reviewing the post on a daily basis
- Ensuring the accurate follow up of all invoice queries
- Ensuring all accounts on hold are investigated and resolved
- Communicating with buyers and suppliers on a regular basis
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Resolving old GRNI balances
- Any other administrative duties as required

The Ideal Person:

- Previous experience working within an accounts payable role
- Good IT Skills including use of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Good organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.

Desirable Criteria:

- Holds or currently studying towards an accounting technician qualification or a third level qualification in a Business / Finance discipline or equivalent.
- 2+ year’s experience of performing an administration role within a Finance Department
